Rose is a registered acupuncturist and Chinese herbal medicine practitioner and has four years’ experience in clinical practice. She is a member of the Federation of Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture Societies of Australia (FCMA). She holds a double bachelor degree of Health Sciences and Chinese Medicine (Distinction) with hospital internship experience in the world famous Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Nanjing, China. She also has obtained a Doctoral degree (PhD) from the School of Biomedical and Health Sciences, RMIT University. Her research focuses on investigating the effects of Chinese herbal medicine combined with food technologies on weight loss.

Rose is professional, caring, patient, compassionate and enthusiastic. She has always been interested in Chinese medicine since young. She has a family background of Chinese medicine as her grandparents and uncle are all Chinese medicine practitioners. Rose has a strong interest in women’s health (menstruation problems, menopause, and infertility), weight management (weight loss, weight maintenance), chronic pain (migraine, neck and shoulder pain, sciatica pain, tennis elbow, wrist and ankle pain) and Cosmetic acupuncture. Chinese medicine understands the skin is a reflection of the internal environment of our body. This holistic view of skin is the foundation of cosmetic acupuncture.

Rose worked as a registered nurse for more than 5 years in a neurological rehabilitation ward prior to her study of Chinese medicine. Having practiced in both Western medical and Chinese medicine settings, and now working in the research field, Rose strives to provide evidence-based care, give clear explanations, and engage patients throughout the treatment process to achieve the best outcomes.
